Beechworth
Beechworth is a historic town situated in North East Victoria, a 30 minute drive from Albury to the north and Bright to the south east. Once a gold rush town in the mid 1850s, Beechworth is now a popular tourist destination.
Beechworth hosts many annual events including the Golden Horseshoes festival over Easter, regular farmers' markets, Harvest Celebration, Ned Kelly Weekend and Opera in the Alps.
Milawa
The Milawa Gourmet Region starts a short distance south of Beechworth and is famous for its produce including the Brown Brothers winery and Milawa Cheese Company.

King Valley
King Valley is a famous wine-producing region only a short journey from Beechworth and has some of the highest altitude vineyards in Australia which produce some very uniquely flavoured and memorable wines.
The King Valley is picturesque against the backdrop of the Victorian Alps and is a great place to enjoy natural waterfalls, fishing, walking and cycling.
